About YTLooper
YTLooper is a free browser tool for practicing with YouTube videos. It helps you loop a specific section, slow it down, repeat a sentence, mirror choreography, and share precise practice settings.
Why This Exists
Normal video repeat is too broad for practice. Musicians, language learners, dancers, and students often need the same short section again and again, with better controls than the default video timeline.
YTLooper focuses on that workflow:
- AB repeat: set start and end points for the exact section you need.
- Slow practice: reduce playback speed while keeping the loop active.
- Sentence repeat: add a pause after each loop for shadowing practice.
- Dance mirror: flip dance videos horizontally and use large mobile-friendly controls.
- Shareable loops: copy a URL that restores the same video, timestamps, mode, and speed.
Who Uses It
YTLooper is useful when the same few seconds matter more than the full video:
- Musicians practicing riffs, fills, chord changes, and lesson examples.
- Language learners repeating one sentence for listening, pronunciation, and shadowing.
- Dancers following front-facing choreography tutorials with mirror mode.
- Students reviewing a dense lecture moment or step-by-step walkthrough.
- Teachers and coaches sharing the same timestamped practice section with a group.
What YTLooper Does Not Do
YTLooper controls playback in an embedded YouTube player. It does not download videos, save video files, remove ads from YouTube, edit creator content, or bypass YouTube restrictions.
Some videos may not load because the uploader disabled embedding, the video is private, the video is region restricted, or the browser blocks embedded YouTube resources.
Privacy
The tool runs in your browser. Recent loops are stored locally in your browser storage so you can reopen them later. Loading a video uses YouTube’s embedded player, so YouTube may receive standard playback and embed requests according to its own policies.
Independence
YTLooper is an independent tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by YouTube or Google.
