Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 30, 2026

YTLooper is designed as a browser-based YouTube practice tool. This policy explains what information is handled when you use the site.

Information You Enter

When you paste a YouTube URL or video ID, the tool uses it to load the embedded YouTube player and create loop settings such as start time, end time, speed, mode, and mirror state.

YTLooper does not ask for a user account and does not require you to upload files.

Local Browser Storage

Recent loops may be stored in your browser’s local storage. This helps reopen recent practice sections on the same device. You can clear recent loops from the tool UI or clear site data in your browser.

Third-Party Services

YTLooper uses the YouTube embedded player and YouTube IFrame Player API when you load a video. YouTube may receive standard requests related to embedded video playback. YouTube’s own privacy and cookie policies apply to that embedded player.

Analytics

YTLooper uses Pageview and Microsoft Clarity to understand basic site traffic, page performance, and interaction issues. These tools may collect standard browser and usage information such as page URL, device type, browser, approximate location, referrer, and interaction events.

Microsoft Clarity is loaded after the initial page load so it does not block the first screen. Analytics data is used to improve the site and diagnose usability problems.

Cookies

YTLooper does not require an account login. Analytics services and the embedded YouTube player may use cookies or similar technologies according to their own policies.

Data Security

The tool is provided as a static website and browser interface. Do not paste private, sensitive, or confidential information into public share URLs.
